Players Health is pleased to offer community coaches in Ohio the opportunity to fulfill their annual mandatory training and review of required information created by the Ohio Department of Health based on Lindsay's Law, a law established to create awareness of the nature ands signs of sudden cardiac arrest.

This course is also useful for organizations not in Ohio looking for a baseline cardiac arrest training for their organization.

This training is for non-scholastic community sport coaches. It is based on the resources available at https://odh.ohio.gov/know-our-programs/Lindsays-Law in order to fulfill Lindsay's Law itself found at https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-3707.59

Course Instructions

The course will take approximately 25 minutes.

You do not need to complete the course in one sitting. You may close the course and reenter as many times as you need in order to finish all of the required units. We do not recommend leaving the course open and inactive for long periods of time. If you step away, close your course and relaunch when you are ready to proceed.

We recommend taking the course on a personal computer (Mac or Windows) instead of a mobile device. Chrome is the recommended browser, though the course will function with other browsers including Safari, Edge and Firefox.If you do experience issues, make sure your browser and operating system have been updated recently.

Certificates awarded for course completion are good for one year and will be reflected in your Players Health account at all times. You may download a copy of your certificate from the menu in the top right corner of this application up to one week after you complete the course.
